Singapore, 7 March 2024 — Nordea Asset Management (NAM) today announced that 12 of its funds will be made available for retail distribution in Singapore via licensed financial intermediaries and distributors in Singapore. This follows the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) recognising the Luxembourgdomiciled funds for retail distribution in the Lion City and serve as Nordea Asset Management’s first retail registered funds in the Asia Pacific region.

Previously available to only institutional and accredited investors in Singapore, Nordea Asset Management’s quality and diverse flagship investment strategies — which include equities, thematic equities, fixed income and multi-asset asset classes —are now available to Singapore retail investors via their intermediary.

This announcement comes just slightly more than six months after Nordea Asset Management Singapore Pte. Ltd. (NAM SG) received its Capital Markets Services License (CMS) by the MAS in July 2023 and marks the next significant milestone in the firm’s Asia growth story. Last year, NAM opened its ESG hub in Singapore, which supplements its local sales presence (established in 2018) and is fully integrated with its ESG-focused internal investment boutiques and complete investment team.
